No two love stories are the same, so shouldn’t your wedding day be equally as unique?

By choosing to have a celebrant officiate your wedding ceremony, you can make the service anything you want it to be. None of the wedding ceremonies I take are ever the same because they involve different people.

Let me give you the legal bit, In England, services conducted by a celebrant aren't legal, so the couples I work with will go to the registry office a few days beforehand and do the paperwork bit, which makes the marriage official. You still need to give at least a month’s notice and no more than 12 months to do this. Once the paperwork is signed then you can have whatever service you want.

I will work with you to create a one-of-a-kind ceremony that will encapsulate your love story, the service will be especially created for you, and we can include all kinds of different elements. These could be handfasting, a sand ceremony, drinking from the Quaich, words of wisdom, using an oathing stone, a parental blessing. There are many options, we can adapt them to include your parents, your children, your friends, even your pet dog.

If you’d like to know more or to check my availability, then please get in touch. I work mainly in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire but am happy to travel further afield.
